In-situ tests are performed using a tripod system and an advanced EL camera. The tripod system is mounted on the frame of the module. Basically, the tripod system is placed on one or more specific modules for making EL images. Depending on the desired shape, a rail system can be attached under the tripod with which a whole row of modules can be filmed, one after the other, with the EL camera. By applying a small counter current to the modules, the modules emit a kind of light with which the EL images are made. The disadvantage is that the test must be performed after sunset. The advantage of an in-situ test is that EL images can be made without having to dismantle the modules.
